Job summary

CLA is seeking a Banking and Specialty Finance Tax Manager/Director to join—and ultimately help lead—our Financial Services Tax practice. This role is designed for a strategic, growth‑minded individual who will help to guide the long‑term direction, talent development, and client strategy of the group.

You will consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning, lead tax engagements, and develop and train team members to build inspired careers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA certification is required.
• Deep understanding of tax issues affecting banks, insurance companies, investment funds, and specialty finance entities.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Foster and build opportunities for our clients, communities, and people.
• Review complex individual and corporate tax returns.
