CLA is seeking a Banking and Specialty Finance Tax Manager/Director to guide the long-term direction and client strategy of the Financial Services Tax practice. This strategic, growth-minded role will help lead talent development and engagement execution.

The position requires CPA, a bachelor’s in accounting or related field, and deep tax knowledge across banks, insurers, investment funds, and specialty finance entities. Widespread opportunities exist to collaborate and advance within CLA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years in a tax role at a public accounting firm.
• CPA is required; JD or EA may substitute.
• Strong understanding of banks, insurance, investment funds, and specialty finance tax issues.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 740, partnership taxation, REITs, and financial instruments.
