Qualifications

• Possess or be able to obtain an NMLS registration.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in banking or financial services preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year developing customer relationships, achieving sales/production goals, and building referral sources preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Teller experience strongly preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
• Lending experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create customer loyalty through needs-based conversations to deliver a differentiated customer experience.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of bank products and services, including other lines of business.
• Educate customers on digital channels and tools (Zoom, Online/Mobile Banking, etc.).
• Drive proactive sales conversations through outbound calls and service-to-sales activities.
• Acquire new customers through prospecting while maintaining and deepening relationships.
• Identify and close sales opportunities to contribute to branch sales goals.
• Refer customers to mortgage, investments, and business banking as needed.
• Uncover lending needs and provide solutions.
• Handle teller functions and cash transactions; balance cash daily.
• Adhere to laws and regulations, including BSA/AML policies.
• Review performance and adjust actions to meet sales goals.
• Perform complex branch operational duties and ensure training completion.
