Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Customer Service Representative I in Knoxville to retain existing relationships and establish new deposit accounts in line with branch goals. The role promotes and cross-sells bank products and services, supports branch goals, and may refer new business to subsidiaries such as insurance and mortgage.

Strong communication, math, and problem-solving skills will help handle inquiries, process transactions, and provide notary services when needed.

Qualifications

Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions and deal with problems involving several known variables in routine situations.

Responsibilities

Open new accounts including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs and other products offered by the bank.
Cross-sell appropriate products and services to meet customer needs.
Support attainment of branch goals and refer new business to subsidiaries.
Resolve customer concerns and ensure long-term problem resolution.
Assist with loan origination and processing as needed.
Answer customer inquiries relating to products, rates and services.
