Job summary

Hanmi Financial Corporation in Los Angeles' Koreatown Galleria Branch is seeking a Customer Service Associate II. You will receive and pay out money, process deposits and withdrawals, and maintain accurate records of transactions in our banking environment.

You will explain and promote bank products, handle transactions per policies, and cross-sell services while upholding compliance with GLBA, Reg Z, and other regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of customer service experience.
• Basic skills in computer terminal, word processing and spreadsheet use.
• Strong math, reconciliation and error-detection abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with high integrity.

Responsibilities

• Receive checks and cash for deposits, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and balances.
• Enter customer transactions into computer systems and issue receipts.
• Balance currency, coin and checks in cash drawer at end of shift.
• Explain and promote bank products and services to customers.
• Record transactions promptly and accurately per procedures.
• Cross-sell additional products and services as appropriate.
• Handle deposits from ATMs and night depository; manage holds on accounts.
