Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must successfully pass background investigation
• Must be able to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume sales environment
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services
• Follow policies per bank direction
• Achieve monthly new account production targets
• Prospect in-store to drive sales as needed
• Process deposits and cash transactions and balance daily operations
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts, and process endorsements
• Guard against counterfeit checks and IDs
• Enter transactions into computer systems and issue receipts
• Sell money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish-speaking customers
• Perform other supervisory-directed tasks
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
• Approval limits based on authority levels
