1stnb is seeking an entry-level Teller/Customer Service Associate in Irving, TX. Under supervision, you will handle cash transactions and provide service in a high-volume bank environment, while identifying opportunities to support customers with banking products and services.

You will balance the day’s work, process deposits and withdrawals, and assist diverse customers, including Spanish speakers. A team-oriented attitude and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently attending).
• Six months of work experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Pass background investigation according to company policy.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow established policies under supervision.
• Achieve monthly new account production as directed.
• Participate in in-store prospecting within sales environment.
• Process deposits and pay out funds; balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks for deposits, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Examine cash to guard against counterfeit items and IDs.
• Enter transactions in computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services and products.
• Serve a diverse customer base, including a large Spanish-speaking population.
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Approval limits based on established authority.
