Job summary

1stnb is seeking a teller to provide exceptional service in a high-volume banking environment. You will handle cash, process deposits, and cross-sell bank products while supporting a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Background checks are required and teamwork is essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Pass background investigation per company policy.
• Able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service handling cash receipts and payments.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow bank policies and directions from supervisor.
• Achieve monthly new account production as directed by management.
• Prospect in-store and cross-sell bank services.
• Process deposits and record transactions; balance daily operations.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Serve a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Adhere to established approval limits.
• Stand or walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs.
