Job summary

Primis Bank in Colonial Heights, Alabama, seeks a customer-focused associate to provide friendly service, handle routine transactions, and assist customers with new accounts while referring to appropriate specialists. You will balance cash, follow procedures, and contribute to audit readiness in a retail banking setting.

Responsibilities include proactive sales to meet goals, servicing inquiries, and supporting vault and MIC processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Cash handling experience.
• Customer service experience in a retail environment.
• Sales experience, including cross-selling (preferred).
• Previous retail bank experience (highly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of customer transactions and inquiries following policies.
• Proactively conduct sales activities to offer solutions and meet goals.
• Refer customers to Primis team members who can best meet needs.
• Adhere to Balancing Standard Guidelines and audit/MIC scores.
• Handle special services such as foreign currency, direct deposits, wires.
• Support market center duties including cash handling and vault tasks.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products/services and CRM software.
• Ensure compliance with Bank policies; participate in Monthly Internal Control reporting.
• In-person attendance is required and expected to be reliable.
