Job summary

Farmers National Bank of Canfield is seeking an experienced Teller/Branch Supervisor to provide outstanding customer service, process transactions, and guide a team of tellers to achieve sales and referral goals.

You will open, maintain, and close deposit accounts, coach staff, and coordinate with branch leadership to ensure efficient operations while maintaining security and compliance. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
Minimum of two years retail banking experience as teller or customer contact/sales position.
Minimum of one year opening new accounts, sales and operations preferred.
Previous supervisory and sales experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide superior customer service by processing transactions and recognizing client needs and recommending products/services.
Open, maintain and close deposits and accounts efficiently.
Direct the daily work of tellers and supervise vault operations.
Coach tellers on sales and referral techniques and opportunities.
Balance vault cash, ATM, and branch totals; conduct monthly teller cash audits.
Make outbound sales calls to current and prospective clients.
Run a teller window as needed.
Adjust staffing to meet branch needs and maintain teamwork.
