Job summary

Farmers National Bank of Canfield is seeking a Teller to open, maintain and close accounts, process teller transactions and deliver outstanding customer service while generating referrals.

You will balance cash drawers daily, handle checks, notary if credentialed, and assist teammates with sales and service while maintaining professional branch appearance.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma, at least one year of retail banking experience with cash handling, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of retail banking experience including cash handling.
• Previous supervisory and sales experience preferred.
• Ability to prepare a cash order/manifest.

Responsibilities

• Manage teller cash drawer to cover daily branch staffing needs.
• Sign official checks up to $50,000 and complete teller overrides when authorized.
• Process savings, checking, holiday savings accounts, loan payments, and other deposits.
• Accept checks for cashing according to procedures and sell money orders.
• Balance cash drawer daily and investigate discrepancies with management.
• Maintain professional appearance and ensure a customer-friendly environment.
• Assist customers with safe deposit boxes and notary duties if credentialed.
• Complete training including BSA/AML requirements and ensure policy compliance.
• Open new accounts, perform maintenance, and cross-sell products and services.
