Convergint is seeking a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking Banking Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on banking security equipment including security cameras, access control, alarm systems, banking drive-up equipment, vaults, safe deposit boxes, ATMs, and more. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential. What You’ll Do

• Participate in our Recruit Awesome People program to help grow Convergint by promoting our colleague-first culture and referring top talent.
• Develop skills in at least one of three areas: locksmiths, drive-up systems, or electronics. Install equipment and support existing customers by responding to service calls. Repair, rebuild, and service remote drive-up systems, audio/video equipment, and locking mechanisms.
• Install, program, test, repair, and service various non-routine systems and equipment related to banking security, including remote units, audio/video systems, and network systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace components of equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and act as a mentor to less experienced staff.
• Handle customer service calls, scheduled maintenance, and emergency calls promptly. Manage projects with attention to cost and deadlines, and ensure work conforms to specifications and safety regulations.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, and ensure all work complies with local regulations and safety policies.
• Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with team members, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Present a professional image and perform other duties as required.

What You’ll Need

• Knowledge of drive-up, locking, and electronic systems specific to banking.
• Basic understanding of DVRs and NVRs connected to remote systems.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills.
• Adaptability and ability to pass high-security clearance.

Requirements

Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience (not required):

• Technical diploma or trade experience (e.g., Electrician)
• At least 1 year of banking specialist experience in a commercial or facilities setting
• Experience in electronic, fire alarm & life safety, or building automation industries
