Where you’ll be:

This position will be fully remote within the Nashville region, TN.

All about the role:

The Appliance Repair Technician role resides within Electrolux’s Group Consumer Direct Interaction organization. The CDI organization supports our consumers by joining them through the entire consumer journey. After consumers purchase our products, the Appliance Repair Technician team improves their daily lives by providing mechanical support for in-home appliances.

What you’ll do:

• Diagnose and repair all types and manufacturers appliances, including ranges, microwaves, dishwashers, range hoods, refrigerators, washers, and dryers.
• Fill out all appropriate forms, paperwork, and call service tech lines as required for warranty claims.
• Maintain an inventory of parts on the assigned vehicle and minimize costs through proficient inventory control.
• Complete and submit all required internal paperwork.
• Submit orders to purchasing for any required parts for repair.
• Follow all procedures required to complete warranty requests from manufacturers.

Physical demands:

The employee frequently needs to drive, walk, sit, and stand. Occasionally, lifting up to 50 lbs and moving up to 100 lbs may be required. Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to focus. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience with electro-mechanical repair or equivalent education.
• Ability to move large appliances and lift up to 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Professional communication skills; team-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with home appliance repairs.
• Proficiency in Sealed Air Systems or EPA refrigeration license preferred.
