Convergint is seeking a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking Banking Service Technician to join our team. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on banking security equipment such as security cameras, access control, alarm systems, banking drive-up equipment, vaults, safe deposit boxes, ATMs, and more. Effective communication skills are essential. As a Banking Service Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team that supports your growth as Convergint grows.

What You’ll Do
  • Participate in our Recruit Awesome People program to help grow Convergint by promoting our colleague-first culture and referring top talent.
  • Be skilled in at least one of three areas: locksmiths, drive-up systems, or electronics. Install equipment and support existing customers by responding to service calls.
  • Install, program, test, repair, and service various non-routine systems and equipment related to banking security.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace remote, audio, and video equipment components. Support network systems as needed.
  • Handle moderately complex installations and customer service calls, including emergency and after-hours calls.
  • Identify project challenges, communicate issues, and assist in developing strategies to meet project goals.
  • Inspect work for compliance with specifications and standards. Refer complex issues to higher levels.
  • Estimate costs and materials for replacements.
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a customer-focused representative of Convergint, ensuring high service quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve operations and provide feedback for product and process improvements.
  • Stay informed on company policies and present a professional image.
  • Perform other duties as required.
What You’ll Need
  • Knowledge of drive-up, locking, and electronic systems specific to banking.
  • Basic understanding of DVRs and NVRs connected to remote systems.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Customer focus and strong communication skills.
  • Adaptability to changing situations.
  • Ability to pass high-level security clearance.

Requirements
