The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in banking, a strong service culture, and proven ability to lead client-facing teams while driving operational excellence across deposits, treasury, and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant banking experience, including business banking, commercial banking, treasury management, deposit operations, retail banking, business development, or related disciplines.
• Strong business development skills and a demonstrated track record of generating new business and growing client relationships.
• Experience leading client-facing teams or functions with a proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate others while maintaining a strong service culture.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver an exceptional client experience and drive client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the client relationship function, ensuring appropriate coverage, effective resource allocation, and a consistently high level of service delivery.
• Identify and acquire new banking opportunities for Piermont Bank through business development initiatives, referral generation, and marketing campaign efforts.
• Grow relationships with existing clients by understanding their business needs and delivering tailored banking solutions and exceptional service.
• Oversee the client experience, including new client onboarding, treasury management product support, account servicing, and issue resolution.
• Support talent development activities, including participation in recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and the ongoing development of team members.
• Collaborate effectively across internal teams to address client needs, streamline processes, and enhance the overall client experience.
• Provide oversight and guidance related to deposit operations, client servicing activities, regulatory requirements, security protocols, and internal controls to ensure operational integrity and compliance.
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of client-related operational tasks and service requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and client-facing procedures to increase efficiency and enhance the client experience.
• Support business development and marketing strategies through participation in industry events, community engagement activities, networking opportunities, and client meetings.
