Piermont Bank is seeking a Banking Relationship Specialist to act as the primary client contact, guiding onboarding and ongoing service throughout the banking relationship.

You will support day-to-day transactions, collaborate with internal partners, and ensure accurate, efficient client experiences while upholding regulatory requirements and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 3+ years of banking experience in a client-facing role.
• Knowledge of banking products and regulatory compliance.
• Strong technical skills with depository programs such as account opening systems.
• Excellent customer communication and relationship skills.
• Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional onboarding experience for new clients and guide them through account opening and implementation.
• Serve as a trusted client contact by responding promptly to inquiries and providing updates on account status.
• Apply knowledge of banking products, policies, and procedures to support clients and internal partners.
• Process and support transactional banking activities, including wires, ACH, online banking, and mobile services.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service delivery.
• Partner with internal departments to research and resolve client issues for a seamless experience.
• Support account maintenance, documentation requests, and client service initiatives per policy.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, controls, and security procedures.
