Job summary

FirstBank PR is seeking a Business Relationship Officer I to cultivate and manage client relationships in Puerto Rico and the surrounding region. The role focuses on prospecting, presenting solutions, and contributing to deposit and loan growth.

You will work with a team to develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with banking regulations. A bachelor's in business or related field and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 3 years of Branch Banking experience or 4+ years in direct sales.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
• Excellent communication and written presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
• Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
• Develop proposals, speak to client needs, and negotiate contracts.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and reporting requirements.
• Manage deposit and loan growth within the client portfolio.
