Job summary

Bell Bank in Fargo, North Dakota seeks an Accounting Operations Analyst to perform daily and monthly reconciliations across general ledger, deposit, and clearing accounts. You will research discrepancies, prepare journal entries, and support month‑end processes, collaborating with teams across the Bank.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance and 0–2 years of banking or accounting experience. Strong Excel, analytical, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required; equivalent combination may be considered.
• 0–2 years banking or accounting operations experience preferred.
• Experience with Nautilus, Signature, Cognos, Prologue, or similar systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
• Reconcile teller cash and communicate discrepancies to teller supervisors.
• Monitor and reconcile transit error accounts and time clearing items.
• Reconcile deposit product principal, accrued interest, and interest expense across core systems.
• Prepare and post journal entries in multiple core systems; support month-end processes.
