Job summary

Qualysoft GmbH is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to design and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks for backend services (CDEV, LIDA, DDHS) and frontend interfaces. You will implement REST API and Kafka tests, integrate tests in CI/CD, and collaborate with analysts and developers to ensure acceptance criteria are met.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Java (preferably Java 17/21) and testing frameworks.
• Hands-on REST API testing experience with modern tools.
• Experience with integration testing and Kafka message testing.
• SQL and data validation for QA purposes.
• UI test automation with Playwright/Selenium/Cypress.
• CI/CD pipelines familiarity (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
• OpenShift or Kubernetes familiarity.
• Performance testing with JMeter or Gatling.
• Banking/financial services domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated testing framework for CDEV, LIDA, and DDHS.
• Develop automated tests for REST APIs and Kafka-based workflows.
• Implement integration tests using TestContainers in isolated environments.
• Validate data in SQL databases for accuracy and auditability.
• Automate E2E testing for Angular front-ends.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Collaborate with BA and Developers to define acceptance criteria and test data.
• Coordinate SIT and UAT execution, track defects and resolutions.
