Job summary

AMroute LLC in Texas is seeking a backend-heavy Senior SDET / QA Automation Engineer to validate banking workflows across APIs, event-driven systems, AWS services, databases, and data pipelines.

You will design Java-based automation frameworks, automate REST/gRPC, and integrate with CI/CD, ensuring quality across payments, transactions, risk and compliance workflows.

Qualifications

Role Summary: We are looking for a backend-heavy Senior SDET / QA Automation Engineer who can validate complete banking workflows across APIs, event-driven systems, AWS services, databases, cloud storage, and downstream data-processing components.

Must-Have Skills: Java Automation, REST API Automation, gRPC Testing, Kafka Testing, AWS S3, DynamoDB, BDD/Cucumber, Gradle/Maven, CI/CD, Banking/Financial Services Domain

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain Java-based automation frameworks using Java, Groovy, BDD/Cucumber, and Gradle/Maven.
• Automate REST APIs, gRPC services, microservices, and backend workflows.
• Validate AWS components including S3, DynamoDB, Athena, and cloud-based data flows.
• Automate Kafka workflows including publishing, consumption, schema validation, and downstream verification.
• Perform data validation across Parquet files, schemas, source-to-target reconciliation, and business-rule validations.
• Integrate automation with Jenkins, Harness, Bamboo, or equivalent CI/CD platforms.
• Support automation for banking/financial workflows including payments, transactions, risk/fraud, and compliance-driven systems.
