Job summary

Dev.Pro, a US-based remote-first software development company, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to own automated testing for a high-volume payment orchestration platform. You will drive quality through robust test frameworks, REST API testing, and CI/CD integration.

You will implement and maintain automation for microservices, mentor teammates on QA best practices, and ensure secure development practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA automation experience with test frameworks.
• Strong experience with Cucumber and Java.
• Experience testing microservices and backend components.
• Knowledge of REST, web services, XML/JSON, SQL.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).
• Understanding of secure development practices and testing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Build automation for high-volume financial systems using Java, Cucumber, REST API testing, and CI/CD.
• Create, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks.
• Test microservices and backend components for performance and reliability.
• Validate REST APIs, web services, XML/JSON data, and SQL interactions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery.
• Mentor team members on quality guidelines and QA best practices.
