Job summary

Bonvenu-Bank is seeking a seasoned operations leader responsible for the technical operations area with a focus on deposit and electronic banking operations. The role oversees core processing, systems, and compliance with federal and state regulations to drive efficiency and support strategic goals.

The candidate should have extensive back office experience, strong managerial skills, and the ability to work with senior management and branch teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years back office/operations or related experience.
• Strong ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Commercial and consumer banking product knowledge is essential.
• Knowledge of Electronic Banking regulations is required.
• Familiarity with NACHA Operating Rules & Guidelines.
• Risk & compliance monitoring experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Interest in AI or automation to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Possess strong understanding of Operations and oversee medium to large, complex functions.
• Ensure timely delivery of operations services to internal and external customers.
• Engage in independent decision making which may involve substantial risk.
• Analyze existing processes to identify and implement improvements for efficiency and strategic goals.
• Work with management to adhere to bank-wide policies and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service to uphold the Bank’s image and mission.
• Operate efficiently within budgets and deadlines to ensure quality and cost effectiveness.
• Monitor daily core and ancillary systems in line with policies.
• Lead special projects as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
