Job summary

Bankwell is seeking a Senior Deposit Operations Analyst to execute and improve deposit operations, manage exception items, resolve disputes, and support regulatory documentation. The role requires hands-on processing, strong analytical ability, and collaboration across departments in a fast-paced banking environment.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in banking, experience with core banking systems, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Six years’ banking experience, ideally in deposit operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with core banking systems and online banking platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, process, and resolve exception items and client disputes with regulatory compliance.
• Process and reconcile internal branch transactions and daily deposit operations tasks.
• Serve as SME for the core banking system and deposit operations across departments.
• Monitor debit card inventories and review ATM/Mobile deposits for compliance.
• Assist with annual tasks (tax forms, IRA statements) and training of staff.
