Job summary

Bank19 is seeking a Banking Operations Specialist in Colorado Springs to support day-to-day deposit and loan operations, and electronic payments. The role requires strong attention to detail and experience with core banking systems to ensure accurate, compliant processing. Onsite work and exposure to process improvements are available.

The position reports to the Operations Manager/Executive Leadership and offers a comprehensive benefits package with PTO and retirement options.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years banking operations experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing.
• Familiar with ACH, wires, and electronic payments.
• Experience with core banking systems and monthly reconciliations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support daily Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, Payment Operations, and other core banking activities.
• Perform account maintenance, transaction processing, payment processing, rate changes, and recurring payments.
• Assist with ACH processing, wire transfers, debit card administration, and electronic banking.
• Review daily operational reports and resolve discrepancies with minimal supervision.
• Support deposit account servicing, including maintenance, statements, and stop payments.
• Assist loan servicing activities including boarding, payments, and account maintenance.
• Maintain reconciliations across operating, settlement, and general ledger accounts.
