Job summary

Oriental Bank in San Juan, Puerto Rico, seeks a Systems Support Officer to maintain and troubleshoot our desktop environment. You will support end users, configure hardware, install software, and help with upgrades to ensure reliable operations.

Responsibilities include on-site/remote support, collaboration with the Technology team, and maintaining accurate documentation. Strong English/Spanish communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or related field.
• Minimum two years supporting desktop and laptop hardware, software and peripherals.
• Proficient in desktop OS, networking concepts, and IT support best practices.
• Strong problem solving, customer service, and communication skills in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site diagnosis and resolution of desktop problems and provide corrective solutions.
• Install, configure, test, maintain and troubleshoot desktop hardware, printers, and software.
• Collaborate with the Technology team to operate the desktop computing environment efficiently.
• Support new computer projects and hardware installations and perform upgrades as needed.
• Assist employees with desktop issues via Help Desk, on-site visits, or remote support.
• Define user access privileges and maintain system documentation and assets.
