Job summary

Synechron seeks an experienced Delivery Manager to lead large-scale technology delivery engagements for strategic banking clients in New York. You will own end-to-end delivery, manage budgets, governance, and client relationships across onsite, nearshore, and offshore teams.

The role emphasizes delivery excellence, commercial acumen, and leadership across agile and traditional models. Base salary ranges from $160,000 to $180,000 per year plus benefits, with regional variations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
12–18+ years of IT Services and Consulting with progressive delivery leadership responsibilities.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing large-scale Banking and Financial Services technology programs.
Experience managing global delivery teams across onsite, offshore, and nearshore locations.

Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership: Own end-to-end delivery of multiple programs and portfolios within Banking.
Staffing & Workforce Management: Plan resources and partner with recruitment teams.
P&L / Commercial Accountability: Manage delivery financials and forecasts.
Fixed-Price / Outcome-Based Delivery: Define scope and manage change governance.
Operational Excellence: Establish governance frameworks and dashboards.
Client Relationship Management: Build senior stakeholder relationships and drive satisfaction.
