Job summary

SYNERGY BANK in Thibodaux, LA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, handle daily banking needs, and provide personalized solutions. You will work Monday-Friday 7:30A-6:15P with some Saturdays, performing deposits, withdrawals, and account support in a fast-paced branch environment.

You will build relationships, ensure accuracy, and protect sensitive information while delivering outstanding service and seeking opportunities to cross-sell appropriate products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of six months of customer service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including varying weekday hours and occasional Saturdays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and create a positive banking experience with every interaction.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone with a professional, friendly, and solution-oriented approach.
• Identify customer needs and connect them with appropriate banking products and services.
• Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional service and follow-up.
• Resolve customer concerns efficiently while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, and check cashing transactions.
• Verify customer identity, signatures, endorsements, and account information.
• Process ATM deposits, night deposits, loan payments, utility payments, IRA contributions, HSA contributions, and other transactions.
