Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of banking or cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong decision making, dependability, and time management are expected.
• Customer contact in a sales environment is preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication, including telephone.
• Ability to operate a computer; adding machine experience preferred.
• Basic mathematical ability and confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Process daily money handling transactions and balance cash drawer.
• Provide quality customer service and greet customers.
• Educate customers on products, self-service, and promotions.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Attend meetings and training on money handling and account management.
• Cross-train on basic account inquiries and set up functions as a one-stop resource.
• Relay customer comments to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Maintain controls and risk management for fraud prevention.
• Other duties as assigned.
