Job summary

Colonial Group in Colorado is seeking a Customer Experience Representative I to handle daily money transactions, balance drawers, and help customers with inquiries. You will greet walk-ins, educate on self-service options, and refer complex requests to senior staff to ensure a smooth, friendly banking experience.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality of sensitive information, and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of banking or cash handling experience preferred.
• General areas of competency: decision making, dependability, development, environmental safety, evaluation skills, interpersonal skills, prioritizing, problem solving, selling skills, team skills and time management.
• Customer contact in a sales environment is preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills (including telephone).
• Ability to operate a computer and software skills required; adding machine preferred.
• Fundamental mathematical ability.
• Must be capable of working with and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Process daily money handling transactions and balancing cash drawer.
• Provide quality customer service to all customers and prospective customers.
• Educate customers on company products and promotions and promote self-service options.
• Maintain knowledge of all company policies, practices and procedures.
• Attend scheduled meetings and training related to money handling and account management.
• Cross train to handle basic account inquiries and refer complex requests.
• Relay customer comments and suggestions to supervisor.
• Maintain internal controls and risk management for fraud detection and prevention.
• Other duties as assigned.
