Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Previous banking experience preferred.
• Experience providing customer service and handling high volumes of cash.

• Strong math and balancing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Greet and support customers promptly via email, phone and in-person while complying with bank procedures.
• Assist customers with transaction services and provide solutions in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude and build long-term customer relationships.
• Process financial transactions including cash, checks, withdrawals and deposits accurately.
• Disburse funds after verifying signatures and sufficiency of funds.
• Balance cash drawer and conduct daily proof to ensure records match system figures.
• Evaluate checks for endorsements, dates, and legality.
• Answer calls professionally and assist with customer inquiries or route to the appropriate department.
• Promote mobile/online banking and ATMs to customers.
• Assist with debit card activations and online access setup.
• Process check orders and debit card orders, including limit increases.
• Work as a team to complete daily tasks and support management with requests.
• Identify opportunities to promote banking services and products.
• Assist with balancing the branch ATM and ensuring ATM functionality.
• Assist with vault management and currency balancing.
• Refer complex requests to appropriate staff when needed.
• Comply with all policies and local laws; participate in community events.
