Prosperity Bank is seeking an Assistant Banking Center Manager in Houston to lead a branch team, open new accounts, assist customers, and provide operational support. The role includes supervising staff in the Bank Center Manager's absence, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in banking with 2+ years supervisory experience, and strong leadership and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field, or an equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• Minimum three years’ related experience in a financial institution, with a minimum of two years supervisory experience.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and supervisory skills.
• Well organized with ability to operate computer applications and related business equipment.
• Familiarity with branch functions, policies, and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Promote and cross-sell the Bank’s products and services by assisting customers in their selection to meet their financial needs.
• Perform banking center activities such as opening new accounts, safe deposit duties, stop payment requests, check recorders, and wire transfer requests.
• Monitor cash limits for the tellers, vault, ATM, and total office.
• Monitor reports to ensure MIL and CTR reporting is completed timely and accurately, and transmission to Compliance.
• Ensure ATM is balanced and cash supply is within limits.
• Review and monitor deposit account exceptions and ensure they are cleared promptly; participate in branch audits.
• Review NSF and overdraft reports for assigned customer portfolios; approve/decline such exceptions within limits.
• Maintain knowledge of the financial industry and staff development.
• Process moderately complex customer transactions and cover in absence of Banking Center Manager.
• Maintain low exception rates and ensure compliance with policies.
