Job summary

Fidelity Co-Operative Bank is seeking an Assistant Banking Center Manager (ABCM) to supervise staff at a Fidelity Banking Center and deliver a full range of financial services to customers. The ABCM will monitor performance, coach staff, and ensure the highest level of customer care while supporting the Banking Center Manager and promoting the bank’s deposit and loan products.

The role requires prior supervisory retail banking experience, strong leadership, and a client-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Three or more years supervisory experience in retail banking.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and team mentoring.
• Strong customer-service orientation and ability to build client trust.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor Banking Center staff for daily operations, scheduling, and goal communication.
• Monitor management reports and performance metrics.
• Develop rapport with customers, understand ownership types, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide back-up support to Banking Center Manager.
• Deliver excellent customer care for daily transactions and inquiries per bank policy.
• Process deposits, loan payments, cash handling, money orders, and related transactions.
• Assist in opening/closing Banking Center, and promote deposit and loan products.
• Identify referrals to Investment Services, TAM, and other lines; know service offerings.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all laws and bank procedures.
