Job summary

The Banking Center Manager II (BCM) at Busey is responsible for leading a larger, high-activity banking center with accountability for sales, service, and operations. You will drive needs-based selling of bank products and coach the team to achieve Service Excellence.

Reporting to the Market or Regional Manager, you will mentor staff, manage staffing plans, and collaborate with other lines of business to deepen customer relationships while maintaining regulatory compliance and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of banking or management experience in progressively responsible roles.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions as it relates to retail banking.

Responsibilities

• Lead banking center sales, service and operations to achieve quarterly and annual goals.
• Develop and coach associates to deliver Service Excellence.
• Attract new business clients through networking and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, privacy and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee daily operations including cash balancing and opening/closing the banking center.
