Job summary

Camden National Bank is seeking a Banking Center Manager II to lead a location with a $35M deposit base, driving service and sales, and ensuring compliance with bank policies. This role oversees daily operations, coaching staff and coordinating risk controls in a community-focused environment.

The position emphasizes building trusted relationships, managing performance, and advancing both consumer and small business opportunities, with a strong emphasis on customer service and local market

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine reports; speak before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; apply basic algebra/geometr
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Knowledge of accounting software and productivity tools including spreadsheets and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and directs activities of banking center staff to ensure performance meets goals.
• Leads service and sales management; coaches and motivates staff for optimum performance.
• Implements sales and service programs to promote retention and acquisition of customer relationships.
• Leads business development for consumer and small business.
• Develops and maintains trusted relationships with customers and community partners.
• Demonstrates knowledge of bank products and solutions.
• Contacts customers and organizations to promote goodwill and new business.
• Manages recruiting, development, engagement, and performance of staff.
• Assesses local market conditions to identify sales opportunities.
• Evaluates and processes loan applications following established procedures.
