Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a customer-focused teller to support daily financial transactions and account openings in a retail banking setting. You will engage clients, introduce bank products, and drive referrals to deepen relationships across the banking center.

Responsibilities include processing deposits, openings, and outbound calls during campaigns, with a focus on timely, accurate service and compliance with bank policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year of Teller experience preferred.
• Background/credit check required; compliance with S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide teller and platform support to minimize client wait times and ensure quality service.
• Identify client needs through conversations and recommend appropriate products.
• Open and process new accounts including checking, savings, IRAs, CDs, and money market accounts.
• Cross-sell and refer to bank partners to deepen client relationships.
• Conduct outbound calls during campaigns to reach clients and prospects.
• Assist clients with loan applications and hand off processing to the appropriate colleague.
• Deliver excellent client experiences and promptly resolve inquiries about account status.
• Stay informed of operational updates and ensure compliance with guidelines.
