Job summary

Gulf Coast Bank & Trust is seeking a Call Center Specialist to assist external and internal clients with debit card, digital banking and various banking needs via telephone. The role supports swing shifts and a mostly remote work-from-home setup, with occasional in-office requirements in the New Orleans area.

Responsibilities include identifying client needs, troubleshooting, handling outbound/inbound calls, and guiding customers through digital banking solutions while maintaining high service

Qualifications

• Experience in client service call centers or client services industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional time management and ability to work independently.
• Punctual, reliable, and detail oriented.
• Computer and mobile device proficiency.
• Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify client needs, clarify information, troubleshoot, and resolve banking issues.
• Manage outbound calls and respond to inbound calls for digital banking needs.
• Provide information about products/services and handle client complaints respectfully.
• Participate in training to improve product knowledge and service skills.
• Escalate issues to management when necessary.
• Handle debit card travel alerts and client requests.
• Process deposits, copies of checks/statements, and other requests.
• Assist with stop payments and COD interest checks.
• Adapt to swing shifts, including nights and weekends.
