Job summary

TD Bank Bedford is seeking a Banking Associate to accurately process everyday transactions and provide education on TD’s banking services to help customers reach their financial goals.

You will open new accounts, assist with deposits and platform services while delivering consultative support and proactive recommendations to build trusted customer relationships. Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience working with customers.
• Customer service skills preferred.
• Able to work during operating hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Teller experience preferred.
• Must complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training upon hire.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent.
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of tasks across a Store location: processing customer transactions, opening new accounts and educating customers on banking products and services.
• Delivers end-to-end advice with trust-building, consultative support, and proactive insights & recommendations.
• Engages with customers to acquire and deepen relationships by providing guidance to TD products and services.
• Identify customer financial needs and refer to appropriate team member or internal partners while ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Complete everyday banking transactions on teller or platform, educating on products or referring to an expert.
• Serve customers on teller line and platform, handling deposits, withdrawals, and account servicing as needed.
• Engage in lead management activities including outbound outreach and hosting appointments to drive referrals.
