Job summary

TD Bank is seeking a Banking Associate to deliver everyday banking transactions and provide educational support on TD services and tools to help customers reach their financial goals.

The role requires handling teller interactions and platform transactions, with emphasis on building trust, offering consultative guidance, and promoting TD products while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Some evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year experience working with customers (volunteering, education, or military experience acceptable).
  • Demonstrated customer service skills preferred.
  • Ability to work during evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
  • Teller experience preferred.
  • Must complete Teller training and part 1 of platform training on hire.
  • Strong organizational skills for fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication; concise, clear and consistent.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; good judgment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Notary License preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of tasks across store operations, including transactions and account openings.
  • Provide end-to-end advice and proactive recommendations to customers.
  • Engage with customers to understand needs and promote TD products and services.
  • Reference appropriate TD team members for more complex needs while ensuring positive customer experience.
  • Complete everyday banking tasks on teller or platform, including digital banking support.
  • Support lead generation and customer follow-up through outreach and referrals.
