Job summary
Ford Energy in Dearborn, MI, is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer focused on bankability and audit readiness for large-scale BESS deployments. You will translate rigorous internal quality controls into externally verifiable documentation to satisfy project financiers and insurers.
You will lead bankability reviews, coordinate audits with customers and partners, and develop standardized documentation packages while working closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting project finance, insurance, or bankability technical reviews in energy or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong customer-facing communication and audit management skills.
Responsibilities
- Bankability & Financial Due Diligence Support: Manage technical bankability reviews for project financiers and independent engineers.
- Customer & Third-Party Audit Management: Coordinate and host audits of engineering, manufacturing, and quality processes.
- Prepare audit-ready documentation and coordinate cross-functional teams ahead of scheduled audits.
