Sterling Bank is hiring a Teller - Customer Service Representative in Poplar Bluff, MO. This full-time role requires handling daily cash transactions, delivering exceptional customer service, and promoting bank products.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with no weekends. Benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and paid holidays/vacation/sick time. High school diploma or GED and prior cash handling experience preferred.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and make on-the-spot decisions regarding customer transactions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers using money.
• Knowledge of bank deposit products and policies.
• Basic 10-key and typing skills.
• Ability to operate a computer and teller equipment.
• Ability to stand/sit for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Strong communication with customers and colleagues.
• Complete required annual training on federal regulations including Bank Secrecy Act and related acts.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate cash drawer and balance daily.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, checks, and loan payments.
• Provide excellent customer service and cross-sell banking products.
• Operates teller equipment and bank software.
• Adhere to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Protect bank assets and customer information at all times.
• Assist with balancing vault, ATM, and related duties as assigned.
