Job summary

OceanFirst Bank in Brick, NJ is seeking a friendly Teller to accurately process customer transactions with a focus on personalized service. You will refer customers to Personal Bankers for specialized services and help grow branch sales and customer retention by meeting goals.

Responsibilities include balancing cash drawers, processing deposits/withdrawals, issuing money orders, handling payments, and supporting outbound calls to migrate customers to digital channels.

Qualifications

• Excellent service, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to cross-sell Bank products.
• Detail oriented and highly accurate with the ability to multi-task.
• Basic personal computer user skills and ability to be trained to efficiently operate banking system.
• Strong basic math ability.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and processes transactions accurately to ensure standards are met.
• Identifies customer needs to refer to Personal Banker staff and cross-sell products.
• Balances and proves cash drawer daily and secures related receipts and records.
• Processes deposits and withdrawals and issues money orders and bank checks.
• Processes payments and assists with club accounts and loan payments.
