Job summary

Columbia Bank in North Bend, OR is seeking a Teller to be the first point of contact for clients. Under supervision of the Branch Manager, you will perform teller transactions accurately, protect cash, and comply with bank procedures and regulations.

You will engage clients to identify needs and offer appropriate products, deepen product knowledge, and support branch goals. High school diploma or GED required; 1 year banking or customer service experience; bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Demonstrates attention to detail with numbers and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing) with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and assist with ATM and other daily branch tasks.
• Mitigate risk through safekeeping of cash and prompt transfer of funds.
• Interact with clients to identify needs and offer appropriate bank products and services.
• Maintain knowledge of Columbia Bank offerings and stay current on changes.
• Support branch referral goals by directing customers to the appropriate business partner.
