Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller - Float to cover branches within a geographic area, primarily onsite in Roseville, CA. You will perform teller transactions, manage cash securely, and deliver the bank's Breakthrough Client Service Standards while building trusted client relationships.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, banking or customer service experience preferred, and comfort with on-site staffing. Bilingual abilities are a plus, with benefits and competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual helpful.
• Ability to learn and comply with Bank policies, procedures and systems.
• Excellent attention to detail in numbers and written instructions.
• Demonstrates ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Always performs teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, etc).
• Supports daily tasks to maintain branch integrity and accurate cash handling.
• Mitigates risk by safeguarding cash and prompt accounting/transfer of funds.
• Interacts with clients to anticipate needs and provide proactive solutions in line with service standards.
• Continuously expands knowledge of Columbia Bank's products and services.
• Discusses and uncovers customer financial needs to identify and refer appropriate products.
• Supports branch referral goals by identifying opportunities and directing to the right business partner.
