Job summary

Ameris Bank seeks a Branch Teller in Valdosta, GA to deliver prompt, accurate service at the teller window and handle routine transactions. You will balance cash daily and assist customers with banking needs.

You’ll identify customer needs, cross-sell and refer products, work with teammates, and support with more complex transactions. Strong communication and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Cash handling or sales experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, professional customer service at the teller window and balance cash accurately.
• Operate the teller drawer and perform advanced teller transactions.
• Identify customer needs, cross-sell/up-sell and make referrals within the branch.
• Support team members and assist with complex transactions as needed.
