Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a customer-focused teller to provide accurate financial transaction processing in a retail banking environment. You will handle deposits and withdrawals, promote bank products, and refer clients to the appropriate teams while maintaining strong cash controls and high service standards.

Located onsite in Knoxville, TN, this role supports daily cash handling, balance activities, and compliance with bank policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and 6 months of cash handling or teller experience strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and basic cashier tools such as a 10-key calculator and coin counter.

Responsibilities

• Handle a cash drawer and follow audit and security policies and procedures.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments for customers.
• Process miscellaneous transactions (bonds, municipal coupons, money orders).
• Assist in daily balancing and processing of ATM(s).
• Assist with vault responsibilities and compliance with policies.
