Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a teller to provide accurate and timely customer service in a retail banking environment. You will handle daily cash transactions, process deposits and withdrawals, and assist customers with service needs while aiming to improve client relationships.

As the first point of contact, you will cross-sell bank products when appropriate, refer clients to specialists, and maintain compliance with banking policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 6 months of cash handling or teller experience strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle a cash drawer with proper cash controls and audit adherence.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments for customers.
• Process miscellaneous transactions (bonds, municipal coupons, money orders, etc.).
• Assist in daily balancing and processing of ATM transactions.
• Assist in night and lobby depository deposits verification.
• Support dual control vault responsibilities.
• Stay informed of operational updates to ensure compliance.
