Job summary

First Horizon Bank is seeking a retail banking teller to provide quality customer service and process daily financial transactions in an onsite setting.

You will handle deposits, withdrawals and transfers, while aiming to enhance client relationships and cross-sell suitable products. A HS diploma or GED and cash-handling exposure are preferred to join our team in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 6 months cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and cash handling accuracy encouraged.
• Basic math and clerical accuracy essential for daily transactions.

Responsibilities

• Handle a cash drawer with proper cash control; follow audit and security policies.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments for customers.
• Process bonds, municipal coupons, money orders and related transactions.
• Assist in daily balancing and ATM processing and entries.
• Support nightly and lobby deposit verification and vault duties.
• Stay informed on operational updates to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Deliver excellent client experiences and resolve issues promptly.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer clients to appropriate teams.
• Promote bank products and services to strengthen client relationships.
