Job summary

FirstBank PR is seeking a Service Representative (Teller) to handle daily transactions, advise customers, and refer banking products as appropriate. You will balance cash, process deposits and withdrawals, and maintain strict compliance with BSA/AML policies.

The role requires strong customer service skills, basic math, and the ability to operate banking tools. Bilingual ability is a plus; flexibility to work holidays and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months in sales or customer service.
• 24 credits toward an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Cash handling experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Fully bilingual preferable.
• MS Office, Internet, and banking tools familiarity.
• Available to work holidays and weekends; willingness to transfer within the area.
• Organized, detail oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Attend and process daily paying and receiving transactions.
• Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate products/services.
• Provide service while meeting satisfaction standards.
• Comply with BSA, AML, OFAC, and internal procedures.
• Balance cash at end of day and complete related forms.
• Complete FINCEN 104, CTR forms as required.
• Support branch growth through sales activities and OSS program.
• Educate customers on alternative channels (mobile app, online banking, ATMs).
• Perform greeter duties when needed and assist with admin tasks.
