Job summary

SmartBank is seeking a customer-focused Teller to join our team in Franklin, TN. You will greet clients, process deposits and withdrawals, and support branch operations with accuracy and integrity.

This role requires 1+ year banking experience, strong math and communication skills, and a commitment to excellent service. Regular attendance is essential, with occasional travel to other branches and Saturday shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associates degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of banking experience preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and integrity required.
• Proficiency with MS Windows and basic computer skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Create a WOW client experience by greeting and assisting customers.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and branch operations.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions accurately.
• Handle account maintenance requests and cashier’s drawer balancing.
• Support cash handling and masked cash drawer controls.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with banking regulations.
• Travel to different branch locations may be required.
• Occasional Saturdays work coverage.
