Job summary

Mechanics Bank is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative at the Atascadero Branch to deliver high-quality service and accurate banking transactions.

Under supervision, you will process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and account maintenance while identifying customer needs for referrals and additional products. You will balance cash, follow policies, and ensure regulatory compliance with a team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1 year minimum Customer Service Experience required.
• 1 year minimum Cash Handling Experience in Customer Facing Role.
• 1 year minimum Experience in a Banking Environment with Basic Knowledge of Bank Deposit Products and Services preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Process routine to moderately complex teller transactions securely.
• Provide exemplary customer service in person and over the phone.
• Identify customer needs and suggest bank products and services.
• Maintain cash balancing and review transactions for red flags.
• Assist at other branches as needed.
• Comply with banking regulations and policies.
